Upstate WISH Society raises $73K for Make-A-Wish SC
Make-A-Wish South Carolina’s 2025 Upstate WISH Society honorees raised $73,000 to help fund wishes for children facing critical illness.
“A wish isn’t just a celebration — it’s part of the healing process,” said Misty Farmer, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina. “For many of our kids, a wish brings confidence, hope and strength they carry with them into treatment and beyond. And these honorees helped make that possible.”
A celebratory brunch was recently held at City Club Greenville to celebrate the honorees’ fundraising achievements. The 2025 WISH Society, which stands for Women Inspiring Strength and Hope, consists of 14 female program honorees, including:

Each honoree was nominated to the program for their professional success, civic achievements and philanthropy commitment. They were tasked with raising funding for the nonprofit organization from January through April.
“These women are a driving force behind the hope we deliver,” said Amanda Osborne, chief development officer at Make-A-Wish South Carolina. “Their fundraising, their advocacy and their heart have made a lasting impact on local wish families — and we’re so grateful for their commitment.”
