SC Children’s Theatre names new artistic director
The South Carolina Children’s Theatre recently announced Peggy Trecker White as its new artistic director. According to the social media announcement, White will start her new position in September.
White brings more than 25 years professional experience in theater. She has served as the director for the Intermediate Musical Theatre Production at Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Camp for over 10 years. White recently directed the SCCT’s production of “Matilda the Musical,” which ran April 25-May 18.
