The Debutante Club of Greenville will present nine young women at its 69th Annual Ball at the Poinsett Club on Dec. 27.
Catherine Douglas Alexander is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Benjamin Alexander. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas William Lauder of Summerville, and Dr. and Mrs. James Milton Alexander of Greenville. Miss Alexander is a student at Clemson University.
Sara Miller Chastain is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers Chastain. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fenton McCreery Davison, junior of Fort Myers, Florida, and Mrs. Ronald Larry Chastain of Greenville and the late Mr. Chastain. Miss Chastain is a student at the University of Mississippi.
Catherine Bolt Culbertson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Symmes Watkins Culbertson, senior. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Alfred William LaSalle of New Iberia, Louisiana, and the late Mr. LaSalle, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bolt Culbertson, formerly of Greenville. Miss Culbertson is a student at the University of South Carolina.
Louise Porter Gray is the daughter of Mrs. Eliza Dickson Gray and Mr. Stephen Carter Gray. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eugene McNulty Dickson of Greenville and the late Mr. Dickson, and Mr. Joel Willard Gray of Greenville and the late Mrs. Gray. Miss Gray is a student at the College of Charleston.
Anna Pearce Hinsdale is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eric Hinsdale. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Thomas Butler Pearce III of Marietta, Georgia, and the late Mrs. Pearce, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Rodney Hinsdale, formerly of Greenville. Miss Hinsdale is a student at the University of Georgia.
Anne Lanier Jennings is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Lanier Jennings. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Belton White, junior of Georgetown, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Leslie Jennings of Greenville. Miss Jennings is a student at Washington and Lee University.
Margaret Jessica Myers is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Michael Myers of Mount Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Richard Louis Alpert of Greenville and the late Honorable James William Sparks, and Mrs. Robert Monroe Myers, junior of Naples, Florida and the late Mr. Myers. Miss Myers is a student at the University of South Carolina.
Isabelle Cote Roy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Alden Roy. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Michael Silkworth of Dallas, Georgia, and Mrs. Clifford Donald Roy of Greenville and the late Mr. Roy. Miss Roy is a student at Clemson University.
Elizabeth Frances Thomason is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryson Gary Thomason. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ellis Allan Tinsley of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, and Mrs. Thomas Lamar Thomason of Laurens and the late Mr. Thomason. Miss Thomason is a student at Emory University.
Officers of The Debutante Club of Greenville are Mrs. Joseph Cart de Brux, junior, president; Mrs. Edward Perry Heidtman IV, vice-president/ president elect; Mrs. James Hunter Wright, secretary; Mrs. Michael Jason Palmer, assistant secretary; Mrs. Ross Benjamin Kester, treasurer; and Mrs. James Benjamin Alexander, assistant treasurer.
Other board members are Mrs. Phillip Griffin Bell, Mrs. Leroy Wilson Brasington III, Mrs. Robert Ray Morgan, junior, Mrs. David Bynum Poole, Mrs. Charles Oliver Williams III and Mrs. Edmond Brent Williams.
Mrs. Jack Eric Hinsdale is the ex-officio member of the board and the chairman of the Mothers’ Committee. Mrs. Lynwood Breeden Hollis, junior, is the advisor to the board. Mrs. David Milling Lominack is the calendar chair. Mrs. Francis Watters Jackson, junior, and Mrs. Jennings Gillem Pressly are the historians.
