Greenville’s Liability Brewing wins gold in World Beer Cup
Greenville brewery Liability Brewing Co. won a gold medal in the World Beer Cup.
The brewery submitted its Belgian-style Feral Garden Gnome, snagging the gold in the Belgian-Style Blonde Ale category. The style of brew normally highlights notes of banana and sweetness. Liability’s is brewed with notes of banana bread, pear and cloves.
The event took place May 1 in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was hosted by the Brewers Association.
The 109 W. Stone Ave. brewery opened in 2017 and is a certified B Corp. The mark is issued by B Lab, a nonprofit that evaluates for-profit companies on social impact related to governance, community, workers, environment and its customers.
