Madworld haunted attraction to celebrate 15 years of fears

Madworld, a haunted attraction off of Interstate 85 in Piedmont, will celebrate 15 years of fears when it opens Sept. 5.

“We are an accumulation of 15 years and with this big anniversary, this is the biggest and best Madworld has ever been,” said Joseph Thompson, co-owner of Madworld. “With that comes brand new attractions (and) scares, (and a) bigger park. Everything is more of what we’ve been doing and we have a lot of new stuff coming for our 15th anniversary. It’s going to be insane.”

Madworld will release more details on its new attractions, scenes and other updates closer to its season opening. For more information, visit madworldattractions.com.
