Walls have officially been raised for Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County’s 13th CEO Build.
The new affordable home is under construction on Zora Street in the Nicholtown community. A wall raising ceremony held May 14 celebrated the start of construction.
“Once again, the business community of Greenville is rolling up its collective sleeves to help create more affordable housing in Greenville,” said LaTonya Phillips, Habitat Greenville president and CEO. “Each year is a new opportunity to strengthen our community and their support is fantastic.”

Each participating CEO pledged funding and volunteer hours to help build the new affordable home. The CEOs will work on-site during construction with their team members, community volunteers and future Habitat families.
“This is about more than building a home, this is about building a community,” Paul said.
Habitat Greenville has built 15 homes in the Nicholtown community over the past few years. The organization is calling on other community and business leaders to come together to help create homeownership opportunities for local families.
