MetroConnects

MetroConnects will be conducting a series of manhole inspections starting July 6 that will prompt overnight lane closures on a number of Greenville County roads in the coming weeks.

The inspections will run from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will necessitate lane closures on the following roads:

  • White Horse Road
  • Wade Hampton Boulevard
  • S. Washington Avenue/West Faris Road
  • North Washington Avenue
  • Anderson Road
  • Poinsett Highway/Rutherford Street
  • Howell Road
  • West Parker Road
  • Cedar Lane Road
  • Rutherford Road
  • East and West Blue Ridge Drive
  • North Pleasantburg Drive
  • State Park Road
  • Woodside Avenue
  • Grove Road

The project is expected to last two or three weeks and will involve inspecting more than 500 manholes. Signage will be in place to help motorists move safely in and around the area. Drivers are encouraged to be alert, be patient, and slow down while in the work zone.
